• What is an Open Day?

  An Open Day is an orientation event held several times throughout the year, during which the University meets prospective students and their families to present degree programmes, services and opportunities, providing useful information to support an informed choice of study path. An Open Day may focus on a single degree programme, on the programmes offered by a department, or on the presentation of the educational offer of a specific Campus (Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna, Rimini).

• What is a Virtual Fair?

  Virtual Fairs usually take place online once a year. They give you the opportunity to explore different subject areas and degree programmes, offering a valuable overall view if you have a wide range of interests. They are a chance to “travel” through the University’s opportunities in a single event, helping you imagine the path that suits you best.

• What is an experiential event?

  Experiential events are immersive initiatives that allow you to experience university life first-hand. These include, for example, “Un giorno in Università” (A Day at the University), an event that offers the opportunity to take part in guided tours, workshops, escape rooms and interactive activities, speed-dating sessions with degree programmes, hands-on experiences and moments of discussion, allowing you to explore disciplines in a dynamic and engaging way.

• How do I take part in an event?

  On the event page you will find instructions on how to participate, either online or in person, depending on how the event is organised.
  After completing your registration, on the My events page you will find:

  • the ticket required to attend, if the event is held in person.
  • the link to join the virtual room, if the event is online.

  If you cannot find the event you are interested in, remember to keep an eye on the website, where events are published regularly.

• How do I cancel my registration for an event?

  You can cancel your registration from the My events page by selecting Cancel registration.

• What do I need Unibo credentials for?

  With Unibo credentials you can register for all orientation events, use your University email account and access the services provided by the University.

• How can I recover my credentials password?

  If you do not remember your username or password, you can recover them using the Credential recovery service.

• I already have credentials, but they have expired. How can I reactivate them?

  If you study at the University of Bologna and have not used your credentials for more than 6 months

  You can reactivate them independently by setting a new password via the Credential recovery service.

  After selecting “I don’t remember my password”, enter your username (firstname.lastname@studio.unibo.it); the available recovery options will then be displayed.

  Credential reactivation is immediate; access to your email account and to Microsoft Teams will be available within 30 minutes.

  If you created your credentials more than two years ago but never enrolled in a degree programme at the University

  Write to credenziali.studio@unibo.it from the personal email address you used to register for the event.
  The Student Help Desk will manually reactivate your account. After receiving the answer, make sure to log in to any University application on the same day to avoid the credentials being disabled again due to inactivity.

  In this case, credential reactivation is immediate; access to the email account and to Microsoft Teams will be available within approximately 2 hours.

  If you do not remember your password, set a new one via the: Credential recovery service.

• How can I change my personal email address or other contact details provided when registering for an event?

  To modify the details entered at the time of registration, access the University Directory Service (DSA). If you do not have an Italian tax code, write to credenziali.studio@unibo.it.

• Where can I find the excuse note?

  If the event provides an excuse note, you will find it on the My events page once the event has ended.

• How do I access my Unibo email inbox?

  You can access your inbox by entering your University credentials on the dedicated page.
